Effectiveness of mindfulness training on emotional self-regulation, anxiety, and sense of coherence of women with breast cancer
Objective: The present study was conducted to investigate mindfulness training on emotional self-regulation, anxiety, and sense of coherence in women with breast cancer. Research method: It is a semi-experimental research design with a pre-test-post-test design and a three-month follow-up with the control group. The statistical population included all breast cancer patients in Tehran in 2023. Among them, 30 people were selected by the available sampling method and randomly replaced in the experimental (self-care training) and control groups (15 people in each group). Done. Data were collected using SPSS-22 software and analyzed through variance tests with repeated measurements. Findings: The results of the research showed that mindfulness training is practical for emotional self-regulation, anxiety, and a sense of coherence in women with breast cancer. Conclusion: Considering the role of beliefs and thoughts in health anxiety, it is suggested that therapists consider mindfulness training on emotional self-regulation, anxiety, and the sense of coherence of women with breast cancer.
